‘’I often give compliments or take pictures and I’ve noticed that those things really boost our customers’ confidence. We then post these pictures on our social media and customers enjoy seeing their own pictures there. This helps to make our customers feel special, which is also the feeling we want them to have when they come to our store and we assist them. Our clothes being worn by a great variety of women also helps promote diversity.’’

‘’I really take my time with our customers and enjoy building a relationship with them. Customers also tell me that they appreciate my honesty. If I think that something doesn’t fit well or isn’t a good match, I will tell them and offer an alternative. People want to be heard. We have women coming in our store who have lost a lot of weight, or gained weight or who have been ill: I care about finding the right clothes for them, clothes that will help them feel good in their own skin again. You are beautiful just the way you are and that’s what I want every customer to know.”

‘’Our customers are our number 1 priority and we do everything we can to also make them feel that way, for example by giving them advice tailored to their needs and by offering great service. Those things simply come naturally to us. I enjoy seeing women feel beautiful, comfortable and confident in our clothes! Many customers come to us specifically because of our unique retro collection and are grateful for the chance to buy those outfits. That’s just great to see.’’

‘’Anything goes and there is something for everyone in our collection. Of course everyone has something that they don’t like about themselves. I enjoy working with the customer; to make sure that every customer also sees her or his assets and so that we can come up with ideas together. I feel like I have accomplished my mission if the customer comes out of the dressing room radiating confidence! Afterwards we often receive pictures of happy customers in their new outfits for example while attending a wedding. That’s so wonderful!’’

‘’I used to always wear trousers because I didn’t think a dress would suit me. After I started working at TopVintage, I ordered my first tunics and swing dresses. But I still felt a little insecure wearing them. But now that I’m actually working in our Store, I only wear dresses. I really feel good in a dress now and even wear them when I’m off work. I never thought that would ever happen.”
